Starch Washing Sys
To make quality starch it is necessary to remove the soluble and insoluble remained in the starch slurry that comes from primary separator. Most of the industries use cyclone counter current by injecting fresh water to refine starch and to lower protein content in the slurry at as low as 0.35%. A starch washing system may have nine or more stages with hundreds of manifolded hydrocyclone in each stage.
